      [The,Commutator]

[The,Commutator] is the new MacSoc magazine which is available free online and in the Maths Building for anyone studying or interested in Maths.  The magazine articles are written and put together by staff and students from across the Maths Department.  We're keen to get as many people involved with it as possible, so if you're interested in writing articles or the more art/design side of things, then please don't hesitate to contact us via the Contact Us page.

All issues will be put on our website, so please click a link below to see the latest one!

      February 2010 Edition

      Be part of the team...

At [The,Commutator] we are building a design team who are either interested in a career in the publishing industry, enjoy design or just like a project. You should be prepared to be part of a team but also bring your own personality to the role. We have secured laptops (MacBook) so that you will be properly equipped with the proper design tools.

The team needs a strong leader who will edit the publication, make final decisions and be proactive about attracting people to be involved as well as managing the talent we already have. [The,Commutator] is still a
fledgling enterprise so it require someone with a vision not just to maintain the status quo but also to take the publication forward, making our activities known widely among the undergraduate community, securing funding for printing costs and editing facilities as well as developing the publication itself. We need someone with ideas of their own and the confidence to execute them who can also delegate.
